Pure has launched Chronos CD Series II, a stereo bedside digital and FM radio with CD player. Chronos CD Series II also comes with the new PURE PowerPort which provides power for USB accessories. Chronos CD Series II is the second generation of the Chronos CD and delivers a sharp new look in either sleek black or cool white. There are enhanced controls including a rotary volume dial and larger, easy-to-use buttons. Audio has been greatly improved with a digital amplifier and custom-wound stereo speakers. There are also lots of easy-to-use bedside features such as four independent alarms for waking to digital/ FM radio, CD or a tone; adjustable sleep and snooze timers and a light sensor which automatically dims the display.

iPod/ MP3 player or headphones can be connected using the front-panel connectors and also comes with remote control. Chronos CD Series II will be available in time for Christmas 2009 at an SRP of £99.99.
