Windows XP, the most popular operating system nearing its end, OEM’s can no longer pre install Windows XP Home on new netbook PCs as of October 22, 2010 as announced by Microsoft in April 2008 is reminded in a blog post. The Windows XP users as of July 13th, 2010, Windows XP SP2 will also reach the end of support and to extent the support install the Windows XP Service Pack 3 via the Microsoft Update website and Support for Windows XP Service Pack 3 will continue through April 2014.
