Google at its annual I/O Developer Conference in San Francisco announced Android 2.2. Codenamed Froyo is the latest update android Platform.  The updated features include portable hotspot functionality, support for Adobe Flash within the Android Browser, and improvements to Android Market.

Following the release of Android 2.2, Google is working on Android Gingerbread which is revealed in FAQ section of webm project and expected to be released in Q4
