MeeGo v1.0 for netbook is released, if you are looking for a different user interface then it is for you. MeeGo provides Instant access to synchronized calendar, tasks, appointments, recently used files and real-time social networking updates through the home screen. Also aggregate social networking contents on one screen and have a Google Chrome browser. Meego v1.1 is also on the way which is to be released in October and will feature touch support.
