Google maps for mobile is now evolved, Latitude a new feature of Google maps allow you to share your real time location with your friends and to see their approximate locations in the map, if they allowed you to do so. Latitude can be used using Google account and easily invite friends to Latitude from your existing list of contacts or by entering their email addresses. Google Talk is integrated with Latitude which allows you to update your status and can also call, SMS, IM, or email each other within the app.

Latitude also allows you to control over how much or little location information you want to share. Latitude can also be added as iGoogle gadget which is now available only in US. Google maps with latitude can be downloaded to your mobile using the link google.com/latitude or can be added as iGoogle gadget from http://google.com/latitude.

Latitude supports Android, Blackberry, Symbian S60, and Windows Mobile smartphone platforms and is available in 42 Languages including Hindi and in 27 countries including India.
